In Annai New Revolution (ANR) scheme, each student voluntarily contribute one rupee per day to educate the students who are economically in downtrodden and unable to remit tuition fees.
Profile of Annai College :
The College was established in 2001 by the noble vision of our Chairman Mr.M.Anwar Kabir and the trust members . The College is being run as Minority Community under K.K.O Mohamed Ibrahim Educational & Charitable Trust. Our College has been affiliated by Bharathidasan University and recognized by UGC
under section 2(f) and 12(B) accredited with “B” Grade in I Cycle by NAAC in 2015, and accrediated with “B+” Grade in II Cycle of NAAC in Feb’2023. It’s a leading Co-educational Institution with Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Research Institution. It is located in a sprawling area of 10.43 acres of land at Kovilacheri in Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu. It offers 25 UG courses, 11 PG courses
and 4 Ph.D. Programmes and 1 Dipolma Course The student strength is 2387 of which girls constitute above 40 percent. Our Staff strength is 90 and imparts value based quality education.
Annai College of Arts & Science, affiliated to Bharathidasan University impart value based quality education to both genders. The college shows off with highest pass percentage and securing University Rank holders every year.
Annai College of Arts and Science always stands for values and empowerment for the poor students. The College supports free education for Sports Sudents & Annai Kalai Siragual. The Annai New Revolution (ANR), Kiswa, Halima, Matharsha are given free education based on their economic status.
Our College follows Mentor-Mentee system for the individual development of students. We also follow Class Committee Meeting for effective administration. The Student Support Cell conducts Quality Circle Meeting every month to sort the grievances of the students. The College functions with various forums for striking towards the students society.
