In the competitive world of economic benefits, it is the duty of Educational institutions to provide a foundation for holistic progress of life inclusive of education, employment, social accountability and responsibility. After careful study and analysis, it has been found that affordable quality education is the need for the day and hence, the Institution has implemented various Components which are listed below.

 

I Moral Training:

We conduct Value Education class. Its main aim is to shape the students to understand the values and in turn it reflects in their attitudes and behaviour, also transforms them to be ethical and moral for the welfare of the society.

Every Monday we carry out weekly assembly meeting sharply at 9.30 A.M by using Public address System, we start with Tamil Thai Valzhuthu, moral stories, Preamble of National leader with Moral quotes, Thirukural and Today’s News paper headlines. The meeting ends with national Anthem.

We conduct Gender Sensitivity Awareness programme weekly.

II Spiritual:

“Unity in Diversity” as the word prove  in our Institution ,every year we celebrate Saraswathi pooja, Diwali, Samuthuva pongal, Ifthar (Ramzan) and Christmas.

III Social Values Promotion:

We Sowed Social values to the Students through various Service clubs and cells such as:

National /International Days Celebrations

We Collect Funds and contribute Grocery during the Natural Calamities period.

Regularly we donate Food for Orphanage and Old age homes.

We celebrate Teacher’s Day & Women’s Day in a grand manner.

We conduct Career Guidance for the School students.

IV Fine Arts Club:

Annai Kalai Siragugal Academy is Promoting our culture and traditional dances like Karakattam, Mayilaattam and Kavadiaattam and Instruments like Tharai, thappai and so on.

In the month of February for  five days Cultural Programmes are conducted for Inter School, College and Annual Day celebration. Annai Kalai Siragual leads the Cultural Programme initiatives..

  1. Annai Aatchiyar Academy

                   To Increase the knowledge and confident level of the students in core area of competitive examination we are conducting training courses through Annai Aatchiyar Academy (AAA)we select the students for coaching classes by conducting the entrance examination and one to one Interview.

VI Academic:

Every year more and more number of students secure University rank in our Institution. Our College honours the Rank holders with Medals.

Internal Assessment, Assignment and Department activities are followed as per the Academic Calendar.

To bridge the gap for first year students we organize the Personality Development and Bride Course, for Second year we organize Communication skill class and for third year students we organize Career guidance programme.

To promote the Research activities and Publication skills we conduct a number of Seminars, Conferences, workshops and Webinars in various fields of Novel Research.

VII Management Free Seat & Fee Concession

Fee Concession is provided for Sports and Annai Kalai Siragual students in order to motivate students with diverse needs and talents. The existence of such concession ensures that each student’s calibre (either in Academics or in Sports) is identified and specialized schemes are tailored to suit their individuality.

For economically downtrodden students we offer a few free seats and 50% Fee Concession is also provided.

  1. National Service Scheme:

To understand the community in which they work and identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving. The College adopts the Villages and does betterment services to the society.

      3.Leo Club:

To promote service activities among the youth of the communities this will develop the individual qualities of LEADERSHIP, EXPERIENCE and OPPORTUNITY (LEO).

  1. Youth Red Cross(YRC)

The YRC movement is based on the principles of protection of health and life, service to the sick and suffering, promotion of national and international friendship to develop the mental and moral capacities of youth.

  1. Rotaract Club

Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship.

       6.Red Ribbon Club(RRC):

The club conducts the regular activities to encourage Voluntary Blood Donation and increase Awareness on AIDS and its related issues.  It brings out the behavior change in young mind.

       7.Citizen Consumer Club(CCC):

To spread awareness on consumer rights amongst all consumer segments. To sensitize manufacturers, service providers on consumer rights and quality. To help consumers get justice when affected.

  1. Women Welfare Cell (WWC)

To create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination. To develop the self confidence of Women. To guide about Women Welfare Laws. To assert the importance of spiritual, economic, social, racial and gender equality.

  1. Internal Complaints Committee (ICC):

This cell aims at sensitizing the students and staff to work diligently to prevent sexual harassment in the college. Complaints of sexual harassment shall be lodged with the Committee and appropriate disciplinary action is initiated by the members in accordance to the rules and regulations of the college.

  1. Grievance Redressel & Counselling Cell:

Grievance Redressal System is a vital part of any administration. It is the responsibility of the College Administration to provide a secure and contented environment to all its Staff and Students. The Grievance Redressal Committee has been formed in the College as per the UGC guidelines to redress the grievances of both the staff and the students.

Counselling greatly helps our students to improve their self-knowledge, well-being and attain clarity of mind and thus they are more inspired, motivated and organized.

  1. Nature Club

Students interested in environment and ecology can become members of this club and serve to protect the environment.

  1. Entrepreneurship Development Cell

The objective of this cell is to develop the spirit of Entrepreneurship among the students. Activities of this cell includes Creating Awareness Programmes, Mentoring Students, Assisting in getting financial support for Start-ups’. The ED Cell is training the students to promote the budding entrepreneurs and to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of the students.

     13.Annai New Revolution(ANR): 

The students donate the money to educate the students who are economically downtrodden.

     14.ExNoRa Club:

The main objective of this club is to instill in the younger minds the civic sense. The activities of this club are various. They are to keep the college and the surroundings clean, providing  the village education and environmental protection.

  1. Alumni Association

Alumni Association consists of all the former students of the College. The objective of the association is to foster among the members abiding interest in the growth and welfare of the Alma Mater. Every student of the college shall enroll as a member of the association.

  1. Gender Championship Club:

Gender Champions are envisaged as responsible leaders who will facilitate an enabling environment      within their schools/colleges/academic institutions where girls are treated with dignity and respect. They will strengthen the potential of young girls and boys to advocate for gender equality and monitor progress towards gender justice.

  1. Coaching Classes for Entry into Services (Annai Aatchiyar Academy)

Students desirous of writing competitive examinations conducted by various organizations like UPSC, TNPSC, CSIR, IBPS, UGC etc. will be given coaching by subject experts in various fields, free of cost.

  1. Value Added Programme

The College offers value added programmes like Yoga, Soft skills, Communication skills, personality development, Medical Coding, Tally, DMLT,etc.,  These programmes are meant to help the students to develop self confidence.

  1. Sports and Games

The College has a regular department of Physical Education. Qualified Physical Directors and coaches are appointed to train the students in various fields. Regular practice, training, matches and tournaments are held every year.

  1. Thinkers Forum:

Every Thursday Thinkers Forum is organized to review the books and to have brainstorming to share their vision to create meaningful conservation.

  1. Piyanthamil Kavi Arangam:

This Forum is organized to inculcate the poetic skill of Students and Faculties.

  1. Valarpirai Mutram:

 The efficiency of student’s skills are evaluated and executed.

  1. History Club

The History Club gives a creative space for students to debate, deliberate and express their perspectives of historical events. It plays vital role in moulding students’ personality and sense of historical enquiry. The competitions of the club also serve to promote the teamwork. Under the aegis of the club, the History Square- a History wall magazine has been initiated that displays various panels on themes of historical relevance. 24. Oratorical Club Communicative ability and public speaking skills among students are developed by regularly conducting competitions, events and seminars. The English and Tamil Departments organize various Literary Programs every year for the students to improve their public speaking talent.

  1. Blossom Budding Care Cell

This cell gives Special attention to our students’ usage of technology and its cyber crime. Through the short videos students are given awareness about psychological issues, sexual harassments, to avoid alcohol and drugs, Arts of self defense, and also Counselling is given to both the genders by senior faculty.

  1. Student Support Cell (Quality Circle)

Quality Circle Meeting is organized once in every month to know the problems and difficulties of the students. The students express their views and ideas freely with the Head and the Co-ordinators of the Quality Circle Meeting. After the meeting we try to sort out the difficulties and bring a solution to the problems and issues as discussed in the ARM (Academic Review Meeting) with Department Heads.

XI Faculty Support Cell:

  • Child Allowance for education is provided to both the Teaching and Non-teaching staffs apart from salary.
  • For Faculties who are continuing their service for more than10 years, our management is providing land as a gift.

  • Periodically arranges special coaching classes for the faculty members to appear for the SLET/NET examinations. Tie ups have been made with leading agencies especially for this purpose.
